TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on www.teeandtoast.com (the “Website”) and your use of the Website itself.
Tee and toast is the trading name of a company based in Northern Ireland .
In these terms “we” refers to Tee and toast and “you” and “your” refers to any visitor to the Website or any Tee and toast customer.
HOW DO I PAY?
Our secure buying system is authorised via Paypal, one of the most respected web payment systems – as used on Ebay. Choose your design +style+colour+size and click the add to cart button. You will be taken to the payment page. We use the PayPal system which takes payment directly from your bank a/c via your card details. U.K postage is included. If you decide to cancel during the process, you will go to a cancellation page so you can be certain your order is not proceeding.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY T-SHIRT TO ARRIVE?
T-shirts are made to order and we aim to process & post orders within 1 – 3 days after payment. You will be notified if there is any problems or delays.
If you need it for a special occasion then please allow us reasonable time to process the order i.e. a couple of weeks notice at least. If it’s really, really, really an emergency, as buying a new t-shirt always is… pop us an email with lots of hugs and kisses and we will see if we can meet your urgent deadline (no promises yet though!)
HOW DO YOU SEND MY PURCHASE?
All orders are sent out 1st Class Royal Mail - the Uk’s postal service. Please note that First Class Mail is not trackable.
Overseas orders are sent out Airmail Royal Mail. All guide to our shipping options are available here. When ordering from overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied once the package reaches your country. * Additional expenses from import duties and taxes may be applied upon arrival.
If you require your order to be sent Recorded delivery, please add the option from our shipping page before checkout.
MY ORDER HASN’T ARRIVED?
In the event that any items are lost or damaged during transit, please email us immediately: firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have to wait 15 working days (from the due date of dispatch) before Royal Mail consider an item lost. In the meantime are you sure that you don’t have a calling card from postman to say they are holding a parcel for you? It is easy to overlook or throw out as junk mail. It might also be worth checking the closest post office to your house and seeing if they have your parcel. So far in most of the reported cases of Lost tees this has been the actual problem.
- We only use addresses supplied at our checkout page and not information supplied by paypal or other payment sites.
- We are not responsible for items sent to an incorrectly supplied address.
- We are not responsible for items you forget to collect it in time from Royal Mail, the item will be returned to us & an additional fee for reposting will be charged.
RETURNING AND EXCHANGING?
Please email us at email@example.com as soon as possible of receiving your order to confirm that you wish to return or exchange a product. We will then email you a returns application form & instructions on how to return an item.
We can only accept items returned to us within 30 days from the date your order was despatched. All items must be returned to us before a refund or exchange is issued. We are happy to exchange or refund a product as long as they have been unworn or unused & in the same condition as they where sent to you. Please be very careful when trying products on, for example, please ensure you are not wearing makeup, perfume or deodorant which may leave marks on the product. we will exchange or refund for any items returned to us with any marks or stains. Please thoroughly inspect any item you order from us on receipt as we will only accept products returned to us in their original condition and fit for re-sale unless we have been given prior notice that an item is faulty.
i’d like to exchange an item…
Once received we will issue an exchange item for a different size, design or colour. You will be required to pay postage on any exchanges & will be advised by email how much to include with your order or pay using paypal. All returns are processed within 3 working days of receipt. When your return has been processed you will be informed by email.
- Items that are returned to us after 30 days will fall outside our return policy will not be refunded. Delivery charges are non-refundable. Free UK & IRE delivery does not apply to returned goods and a postage fee will be charged. Sale items are non- refundable.
- When returning an item to us for refund or exchange, you are responsible for the item until it reaches us. When sending anything back to us retain proof of posting from your postal service, so that you may trace the package if we do not receive it. You may wish to send it recorded for extra peace of mind. We are not responsible for returned damaged goods or items that fail to reach us.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS?
OOOPS. If the item you received is faulty or incorrect, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your name, order number and details of the product received. We will then advise on how to proceed. You have 30 days from receipt of the faulty item to return it to us.
HOW SHOULD I WASH MY T-SHIRT?
Remember tee and toast loves you and we want you to love your tee for a very long time. So please look after your it. Be careful washing and ironing: Wash Inside out at 40c. Wash dark colours separately. Iron on Reverse (do not place your iron directly on the design). Do not tumble dry.
WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE INFO YOU HAVE ABOUT ME?
Our data collection and storage is governed by the rules of the UK Data Protection Act. We will not divulge your email address to anyone else and we will not send you emails unless you subscribe to our mailing list.
WHAT ABOUT YOUR MAILING LIST?
You can subscribe or unsubscribe from our mailing list from this website. We will only send you information that we feel will be of interest to you. We do not share your information with anyone else whatever. It is not in our interest to annoy you so we try limit our updates to around one email a month, but as we are only starting on the big old web we might have a few to begin with! If you wish to unsubscribe send an email to us with UNSUBSCRIBE as the title and you will hear no more from us.
WHAT DOES SWEAT SHOP FREE MEAN?
As an ethical company we believe we have a responsibility towards the environment and the people in it. We have chosen a suppliers from the U.K & Canada who’s ethical stance is matched with ours. Feel free to check out them out on their websites:
We try to do our best for the environment. We pride ourselves on being hype free & not over toasting our garments with packaging.
- we use biodegradable brown paper tape for all our boxed orders,
- t-shirts are sent out in biodegradable mailing envelopes
- we collect bubble wrap from local shops, who would normally just chuck it in the bin!
- we also use any 2nd hand packaging materials that come our way
- so please remember that we are just trying to reuse before recycling and we hope you will too.
- our next step is to replace the polystyrene boxes we use for small mugs – but at the minute they are the best way to guarantee that the mugs arrive to you in one piece!
